Giljanes is conveniently located close to the airport on Vágar Island in the Faroe Islands, the home to many of beautiful nature sights.

Giljanes consists of a hostel and a campsite. The hostel has separated female and male dormitories with bunk beds where each room as 4 beds. There is also one 6-bed shared dormitory in the hostel. If you wish a little bit of privacy, you can enjoy one of the 3 double rooms, which 2 of them get an unforgettable view over the ocean.

The bathrooms are shared for all the rooms, travellers can cook a great meal at one of the 3 well-equipped kitchens and enjoy sharing stories in a cosy lobby with the best view.

"Great atmosphere, the host is so friendly and the rooms & beds are comfortable. As the only cheap accommodation on the island it makes it possible for budget travellers to enjoy the Faroes. Also nice that booking is flexible if you plan to stay longer (you will)! Close to the airport and bus stop for travellers without a car, & with a car it's easy to get anywhere."

"The owner is really really nice and the cat is sooooo cute everyone love him. The owner is very welcome to answer any questions and gives a lot of useful advice. The common area is comfortable and the kitchen is good. The price is affordable. Some spots to visit in walking distance. The bus to airport and Torshavn. Will stay again if I come back and highly recommend to everyone."
