The closes one in a walkable distance is Witchfinger cliff in Sandavágur. About 45 minutes of walk in each direction.
The next closest one is the “Lake above the Ocean” in the Midvágur village. The walk in one direction will take about 1,5 hour each direction.
Yes, you are welcome to stay at the Giljanes Hostel & Camping is open all year round.
There are two supermarkets in Midvágur village, Bónus and FK. It takes about 5 minutes to drive or 20 to 30 minutes to walk in each direction. Both supermarkets are closed on Sundays. You can also buy some basic food at a gas station called Magn which is also located in Midvágur.
